Think twice before booking with Imagine Crusing

I booked a holiday with Imagine Holidays/Cruising. Paid a fortune On my arrival in Dubai 7am on the 21 November, a stop over on my way to Italy. I handed my voucher supp**** to me by Imagine Holidays /Cruising to the Hotel only to be told it was not recognized by the hotel. I had to wait in the lobby of the Hotel for five hours before our booking could be confirmed. Not only was this traumatizing, embarrassing and costly, we were tired and lost 5 of hours our time in Dubai where we could of been exploring. To make matters even worse we were due to come back to Dubai on our way back from Italy. Just before leaving the hotel I tried to confirm this booking with the hotel only to be told they had no booking. I immediately messaged their emergency number only to be told that my booking had been confirmed and was given a reference number, I was also told off for messaging them so early. Arriving back in Dubai to my horror, again there was no booking. I called their emergency number only to be told they will contact the Hotel beds whom they made the booking with to sort this out. This time they could not secure us a room. I was advised in writing that I should pay the hotel and would be refunded the next day. Not wanting to suffer the same trauma as before after 2 hours of waiting. I paid the hotel almost R5000 . The next day I received an email from Sharon full of excuses how it was not their fault but hotel beds and how it would be hotel beds would refund me. As far as I am concerned I paid Imagine Holidays /Cruising not hotel beds they should be the ones to refund me. On my return to JHB on the 4th December, I emailed them the invoice from the hotel. Three calls two emails (with not one reply I might add) I was promised by Sandy that my money would be refunded still waiting its the 10th today. If I could offer any advice, you can book your own hotels , air and rail tickets. You will do a better job at half the cost!!!!!!
