Firstly, the Imagine Cruising website is misleading and inaccurate. I placed a call in August and got told various reasons why the website / advertised rate could not be given. Additional supplements of almost double the price was added for a single person.<br> <br> The terms and conditions are only given AFTER you have made the booking and the contract is with 'Dnata World Travel' - who are based in UAE.<br> (The T & C's have also changed on the website).<br> <br> The contract supp**** does not subscribe to the consumer protection legislation in South Africa - however, the company is registered in SA - but claim the UAE laws on the contract?<br> <br> The invoice provided is not a legal TAX INVOICE - no company registration or tax details are evident. Could this be a case of *****?<br> <br> Now that I have cancelled, I am told that I need to pay an extra R7000 and they retain my deposit of R21 000? <br> <br> I have rep**** and yet - no response has been received.<br> <br> I have also requested all recorded conversations - yet only received 2 (one of which is void as it only contains 'Hold-Music\.<br> <br> The Customer Representative was unable to answer any questions<br> <br> I will hand this issue over to my Attorney who will investigate further"

After a very lenghty and tiring experience (10 months to be exact) with Ronvin, Bonnie & Neil from Imagine Cruising, I was granted my deposit back of R21000.
The most unfortunate experience due to their lack of transparency and ********* business operations.
They exercise in high pressure sales pitches by making you belive that you need to book immediately.
I did this and soon realised that the deposit was highly inflated and received an invoice and a contract that was non compliant and void.
I will NEVER book through Imagine Cruisng again and happy to say that there are other cruise agents that are honest and cheaper.
