Booked and paid for a holiday to Rome, Vernice and France. The price was R57,996.00 for a family of four. I paid R25000.00 as a deposit. I then contacted Imagine Cruising on 30 September 2015 that we are unable to continue with the trip and therefore cancelling and expect my refund. They responded by saying there is a cancellation fee of R37665.94, thus I will forfeit my R25,000.00 and liable to pay R12,665.94 over and above the deposit amount. They referred me to the terms and conditions to which I requested they should send proof that I agreed to such terms and conditions. A gentlemen by the name called Taariq Kafaar called me and said there is no signed terms and conditions however he claimed that I have accepted those terms and conditions orally on the phone to which I dispute this. This gentleman did not want to provide the manager's contact details when I requested so I could send further correspondence, instead he said I should send further communication to customer care.
