Dont book with Imagine Holidays

I think what we were promised and what we got are 2 very different things. I booked with Imagine Holidays who I will never use again. Clearly as their name suggests, most of the things they promote in the package are left to the imagination.

Firstly i would only rate the hotel 3 stars at BEST. The rooms and service and food are not sufficient to warrant a 4 star.

Secondly the "beachfront" they boast about is a small closed off section of the bay about the size of a large pool. Below knee depth. No waves.

On the night we checked in, we got to the hotel at 10.30pm and they had no food to offer us. If you know you have guests arriving then you need to have a meal prepared for them, offer room service or even just some sandwiches in the room.

We were promised a two-course "honeymoon special" lunch daily for the duration of the stay at a designated restaurant. When we asked about it they had no idea what we were talking about.

We were told our all inclusive package includes the use of facilities at the other 2 sister hotels: Victoria and Cannonier. When they initially tell you about this perk, they make it sound like these hotels are walking distance/neighbouring. In fact they are very, very far from each other. No shuttle is offered between hotels. You have to catch a taxi. Which costs ALOT. They did give us a nice bottle of g**** juice (or Champagne if you drink alcohol) on arrival. Their fruit platter was one apple and one pear and a tiny pineapple. Also gave us a muslin beach bag (no sarong) and tshirt as a gift. Cute.

Lastly, we weren't told there was construction at the Mauricia. I dont think anyone wants to hear knocking and grinding at the poolside on a vacation.
