"Expectations" vs "reality"... It would be much better

What can I say about this event at all? "Expectations" vs "reality"... It would be much better, if I didn't read all the detailed materials before the event. The description was written by professional marketing agent, I guess. First of all, I was shocked by the amount of people on the ILP Expo. It was supposed that 300-500 professionals will gather at one building, share experience and contacts. All in all, there were only around 100 people. Considering the "gala" party: that was nothing else but a regular party with well-dressed people inside. Regular DJ, regular singer. Dishes were awful!!! Totally not worth the money I paid for that. The word "luxury" which they use so often regarding themselves, doesn't relate to the ILP event at all. Totally dissapointed.
