Rude, Embarrassing, and Unacceptable Behaviour at Blouberg

The view at this Blouberg establishment may be stunning, but the service is absolutely appalling, thanks to the owner, Jerry. He is rude, sarcastic, and seems to have no understanding of how to treat customers respectfully. Not being from Cape Town, his condescending and dismissive tone makes the experience even worse.

After spending just over an hour enjoying a meal with my family, Jerry came over—in front of other customers—and rudely told us that this “isn’t a camping ground” and that we should “buy a coffee or whatever, have it and leave.” It was humiliating, uncalled for, and completely unprofessional.

As someone who has supported this place almost daily and brought others along, this experience was beyond disappointing. Such treatment of loyal customers is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise anyone who values decent service and respect to avoid this establishment in Blouberg.
