Hair loss due to Botox as well as Brazilian blowout treatment

My mom and I bought the new Brazilian blowout treatment (which my mom used) and the Botox treatment (which I used) during the month of October 2020. We have been getting these treatments at a hair salon in Sandton for the past 5 years. The process of applying it was easy and had no hiccups. A month later at the end of November 2020, I app**** the treatment. However, my experience with it was completely different. The chemical fumes were so intense that I had to put the fan on and open all the windows and doors. Within 5 minutes I started feeling a severe burning sensation on my scalp. I finished applying it but could no longer take the burn and immediately ran to rinse it out (even though you are not meant to rinse the product out.) the tingling sensation on my scalp lasted for the rest of that afternoon, but I did not think anything of it because I assumed I rinsed all of it out of my hair anyway.

Exactly 3 months after my moms and then 3 months after mine, both of our hairlines started disappearing. It first started with my mom as she app**** her treatment first. Shortly after her progressive hair loss, mine started (during the middle of January and beginning of February). The hair fall became so extreme during hair washes that I stopped washing my hair as often and started washing it once a week at most. During detangling, clumps of my curls were coming out even when I used a wide tooth comb which is more gentle on detangling.

I started getting increasingly concerned, so much so that I booked an appointment with my local Gp who ran blood tests and my blood came back as normal. Still concerned I booked an appointment with my Gynecologist who also ran a few tests and checks and they too came back normal. My gynecologist asked a few questions relating to my severe hair loss and one of the questions were “have you app**** any chemical treatments on your hair within the last 3 months?” And it was only then when I realized that both my mom and I are experiencing the exact same thing after both having app**** these products onto our hair.

It is now the beginning of April and I am still going through chunks of my hair falling out every single wash day (once a week). I have tried multiple topical treatments to stop the hair fall but nothing seems to be helping.
