Wrongful debit o

I have been residing in one of their properties in Lotus Gardens, Little Manhattan East Village for 11 months now. When i moved in there were no light covers in the bathroom and bedroom which was noted upon moving in. They later came to replace the cover in the bathroom. To my surprise on my January 2025 invoice I was charged for replacing a light cover, I have never signed an acknowledgement of this deduction and there is no satisfactory proof that i broke a light cover that was replaced. My husband and I have been liaising with Leonard Mungofa who is the property manager, he promised us a refund form for us to get an immediate refund, he has since gone silent. Jyoti Kika who is the Senior Creditors Clerk informed us that the amount will be deducted from our February 2025 rent. The annoying thing about this situation is that we did not break a light cover that needed replacing, we were wrongly debited and instead of refunding us, we are being gaslighted, IHPSM assumes we do not know where to complain and how. This is how they treat their tenants as if we are stupid.

They wrongfully debited us and now they are gaslighting us, I want an immediate refund because this error was not my doing.
