NEVER RENT FROM IGROW RENTALS OR IHSPM REAL ESTATE - THEY DO NOT PAY BACK THE DEPOSIT!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way I have been treated by both IHSPM Real Estate and iGrow Rentals. I began renting a flat through IHSPM in February 2024. In October 2024, I was informed that the property had been sold to iGrow and that lease renewals would need to go through them. I cancel my lease that same month.

I vacated the property in February 2025 and after 21 days requested the return of my deposit, I was in contact with an iGrow agent, Bianca Bester, who then passed my request to Andries Komoreng at IHSPM. His response was abrupt and dismissive, stating I would need to wait three months for my deposit—without any valid justification.

Upon reviewing my lease agreement (signed 5 January 2024), I found no clause supporting this delay, since my lease was signed with IHSPM and it clearly state 21 days after vacating the flat. Further, I discovered that the flat was already re-occupied shortly after I moved out, with no repairs or maintenance done—eliminating any reason to withhold my deposit.

Since 11 March, I have been in back and forth emails with the following representatives, with no resolution:

Bianca Botha (***) Tadiwa Ncube (***) Bianca Bester (***) Inge Burmeister (***) Philippa Chipp (***) Luticia Brown (***) 3 months later my money has not been paid. After repeated follow-ups and even having to threaten to go public, I was finally told on 5 May that the funds had been transferred to iGrow. Today is 21 May, and I have still not received my deposit.

This level of incompetence, lack of accountability or company values is on another level. I strongly advise others to avoid doing business with iGrow Rentals or IHSPM Real Estate, they do not pay deposits, they are a bunch of ****mers.
