Stay far away from IHS.

It was an absolutely horrific experience dealing with IHS property management. IHS lacks any form of account management. They invoice inaccurately, they will turn your electricity off when you do not pay their INCORRECT invoices, they charge the tenant for window frames that break due to bad quality and installations, they make up imaginary snags on the inspection report to take from your deposit.

Worst of all they claim to pay back interest on your deposit when you move out. They paid 2% yearly interest. With SA banks offering 10% interest on a savings account this is absolutely shocking. When I disputed this they just went silent and started ignoring my emails.

Worst company I have dealt with.
