IHS- DISAPPOINTING AND LAZY AGENTS

If there was an option to give a rating less then 'terrible', I would most definitely give it. The agents at this agency do not care at all about potential clients and from what I have read about them, they do not even care about their current clients.

I went through four different agents, each worse then the other. I started looking for a place to stay in May/June because I needed to be out of the place I was living in by the end of September. The first person I dealt with was Gugu Langa, who asked me a few questions about the place I am looking for and for when, gave her all these details then she said she will get back to me, she never did nor could I get ahold of her. The next agent I approached was Mandisa Twala, she also seemed promising, sent me listings of places then she suddenly became ill (I didn't think much of it because we are in a pandemic, so she could have really fell ill) so she referred me to someone else. That someone else was Nokwanda Le***uba (who seemed to not have been briefed about what I am looking for) , I contacted her to ask her the same questions, I had asked the two previous agents. At the time of me looking for a place to stay there was a special going on where rent is reduced and no deposit will be required, any sane person would be eager to get this deal, right? but Nokwanda suddenly told me that the caretaker for the apartments I would like to view is sick so I will have to wait until he/she returns then Nokwanda disappeared on me, she did not respond to my calls, no updates, there was complete SILENCE. Then a couple of days later I tried contacting her again, she then said there would be someone there to open up for me to view however the no longer running the NO DEPOSIT special ( how convenient). Fine, I tell her I would still like to see the place, a day and time is set for viewing, she sends me the number for the person who will be doing the viewing. I get to the place in Parklands and wait (and wait then wait again), the person is not answering her phone but she eventually comes after making me wait for a while. I don't know what is happening with this agency but their buildings are dirty and you can tell that they do not do any maintenance. Anyways we climb the stairs and the lady whose name is Blessing Okoye struggles to open the security gate for the apartment ( I just could not believe it) then she says no man, I have really nice apartments that are just around the corner that you guys (me and some other person coming to view) can view, better then these ones, fine we agree and go. When we get to this place. the apartment is beautiful, spacious and clean (probably because it was new apartments), she says she will send us a form to fill in and the list of documents that are required. I filled in the application form and sent in the documents on the same day as the viewing.

1. I would expect that you as 'my agent (Nokwanda)' who is not based here (from what I established) would do a follow-up to find out how the viewing went. 2. As an agent who convinced me to go with her (Blessing), would you not do a follow up on how my application went or something? I never received feedback on my application and when I asked her about this, she gave me attitude.

I mean with the agency I went with after IHS disappointed me, they did a thorough job and made follow-up calls.

I write this to advise people to rather seek assistance from a different agency then this one. A place where people actually want to assist by providing a service to potential clients.
