Deposit Refund

Earlier in the year when I app**** for a rental apartment with the company, during the exchang of information, I had speficially told the agent signing me up that I was looking for a short term lease, 6 months, he had sent me a contract that had 12 in it and when I called and asked he said it will be rectified, the first month rental free arrangement was waived, I paid a full deposit, and rent, after 9 months I left, I have been asking for my deposit refund since late October, I provided all the documents they kept asking for each time I followed up, I have called numerous times, provided them with everything they required and now they are ignoring my emails and I still don't have my deposit refund a month and a half since I exited their building -Urban Ridge East Unit 141.
