no trade in bank setlement

My problem started end April when I decided on trading my Dodge for a Fortuner that my husband found online. The dealership was Ignition Auto - Randburg. The trade was done and we left the Dodge at the dealership. 3 weeks later I had the clutch tested and found it was burned. Ignition Auto had us pay half the cost of repairs. A month later (end May) I paid another instalment on the Dodge that was never settled within the 15 day period received from the bank. the Manager Jogi - with a very bad attitude - phoned me to reassure me that the money will be refunded to us. that did happen. end June came and I paid another instalment on the Dodge!! the car is still not settled with the bank!!!. I already know that we will now go thru the process again of getting the settlement from the bank. how can any dealership accept a trade in and not settle the vehicle. my husband had to renew his licence card and was forced to renew the licence disc of the Dodge that has since expired. the car is still registered on his name.
