Ignite Ferndale On Republic The Worse

Firstly I would just like to say - I have always been all for Ignite Fitness Especially The Cape Town StGeorges Branch. Everything was always on point- The machinery, The People, The Culture 11/10 and that’s exactly why I have chosen Ignite Fitness again here in Johannesburg (Ferndale On Republic), But Oh my Gosh! What A train smash!!! I joined last year December and I’m not even exaggerating… every single time I’ve been to gym, which is 3-4 times a week. There is a machine that is broken. If there are 30 treadmills then 25 is faulty. One day I was on the treadmill and someone just turned off all the equipment. It was not loadshedding but the staff member said that she had not seen us on the treadmill. That’s ok - We all make mistakes. But every single day a different machine is not working. I have spoken to the manager or Maintenance manager and have expressed our concerns/disappointment and he assured us that He is busy sorting it out. It’s been 5months later and still the same. I have injured myself more than thrice already. Majority of machines are non functional- The sauna has never worked since I joined. Absolutely Terrible!!!! I cannot believe it’s under the same Umbrella!!! Definitely joining a new gym in the new year!
