Disingenuous employees and greed

Be careful that their disingenuous employees don't rope you into contracts for commission. They will lie right to your face just to get you to sign for a commission (This is not the first time they have done this). I asked an employee to give me a contract to for 12 months and he signed me up for 24 months digitally and was right next to me the whole time. I told him I will only be there for a year. I Trusted him, excited to join the gym. They want me to pay for a year I won't even be there. That's R2300+ I will never see. A massive penalty for their employee's simple greed. They also didn't send me the contract at first I had to ask twice. I feel so violated and I hate being **** to. I'm extremely unhappy with how they have been talking to me over the phone to get this ridiculous amount of money out of me. They don't care about their customers at all!
