Difficulty with membership cancellation

I started a gym membership with this gym in 2021 but due to work I relocated and therefore could not continue going to this gym. I have been struggling to get this people to cancel the membership so that it does not automatically renew. When I called the branch where I opened the membership (Greenacres) they keep sending me from pillar to post, they refuse to assist me by canceling this or calling their head office and gave me a number to call that no one picks up. I have been sending messages on Facebook, reviews on google and they will respond that someone will call me but no one has ever called me. I sent countless emails to request this cancellation and spoke to a lady who said they canceled it but to my surprise this gym is still deducting. I have never seen a business that makes such a run around when you have to cancel their membership. No one in the gyms can tell you something concrete it is shocking. I have had other gym memberships with other gyms but this one is the worst ever.
