WeFix? No, more like WeF***edItUp!
I Will never trust WeFix again!
I took in my iPhone X for a screen replacement to WeFix Menlyn branch.
I picked up the phone a day later and I was happy paying R2999 for a new screen, however the screen started to malfunction in the next two weeks after which I took it back to WeFix.
They assessed the phone and replaced the screen under warranty as the screen was faulty.
This time around the screen lasted about 12 days before it fell out of the phone when I took off the silicone cover and typed on it.
Took the phone back to WeFix and they refused to fix it as they claimed it was physical damage and its not covered under warranty - how does a screen even fall out of a phone just by using it like a normal phone!?
I paid the assessment fee of R180 and took my phone to another cellular repair shop.
They replaced my screen then and there right in front of me for half the price of WeFix and they showed me why the screen fell out in the first place - WeFix did not use enough glue on the screen, they only glued it at the top and bottom, not the sides.
The precise words of the guy who fixed my phone for good were: “Never trust those F**kers again, I have fixed too many of their shoddy jobs.”
So basically I spent R3179 on something that I cannot use ever again because of their poor workmanship.
