weFix Dishonest Business Practice

My son's phone fell and his screen protector got damaged. We then went to weFix to buy a new screen protector so that the phone can continue to be protected should it fall again. The lady who assisted us was friendly and even fitted it for us. On the very same day, the phone had a slight fall and the new screen protector as well as the phone's screen were shattered. We bought this 'screen protectors for R299 and it turns out that it was not a genuine screen protector. We expected an item of proper quality from your store. I'm not sure if this is done so that we can come to your store for repairs. This is dishonest business practice and I require weFix to fix my son's phone screen as well as replace the **** screen protector with an authentic one.

Good evening.

We are sorry for your disappointment and misfortune however do understand that life happens. A tempered glass screen protector is just that - glass. Not indestructible glass. Just glass. It can protect your screen from scratches and even further damage sometimes but unfortunately you cannot determine how gravity will take its course - your screen might crack and the protector will not, the protector might crack and the screen will not or both may crack. If you're lucky, neither is damaged during a fall/impact.

weFix does not claim that our tempered glass screen protectors will definitely prevent damage to your device nor do we provide a warranty on them. We are also note sure what you mean by "an authentic / genuine one" as multiple brands of screen protectors are on the market and all are made from the same material and are equally susceptible to damage.

We will unfortunately not be replacing your screen protector or your touchpad and are once again sorry for your current circumstance.

Sincere regards,

Giselle Nareen for weFix

Reviewer Update
I quite understand the explanation about the tempered glass screen but I've bought these before and this was not a tempered glass screen, it's plastic. All the tempered glass screens I've bought before have done a superlatively better job than this. I suggest taking both the phone and the 'tempered glass screen protector' you sold me and you will have a better idea. At this rate you might want to review your supplier of this specific product. The least you can do is check if my claim is valid.
