WeBreak

I accidentally smashed the screen on my Iphone 7 (17,000 rands) And took it to weFix at the top of Long Street Cape Town to have it replaced . I got a missed call while I was on my way home to wait and I called them back to be asked by them did I know the home button was broken ? I of course told them it wasn't when I took it in to them , if it had been I would have asked them to fix the home button aswell as the screen when I booked it in ! I went to pick up the phone and the technician said it was broken when I brought it in (Basically literally **** to my face with a dumb nervous smile and said it must have been the impact when it smashed , BUT IT WORKED FINE before you got your hands on it technician !!! ) I begrudginly had to pay to them over 6000 rand for the new screen AND for them to break my nearly new phone . All they offered me was a pathetic 5% discount and a "It wasn't us apology but its ok because you can still use the home assist button " Which is very inconvenient and why should I ? YOU BROKE MY PHONE!!!. ) So now I have a very expensive phone that is probably worth 500 rand as the home button doesn't work and to add insult to injury the battery drains like hell now . I took it to DigiCape ( Apple Authorised ) Who wouldn't open it because the warranty was void now by default because an unauthorised company opened it .I then took it to Apple Doctor in Maitland who checked it and told me that the home button was broken by whoever had opened it ( Obviously weFix ) But they will never admit to it . So now Apple Doctor have ordered me a new battery and a new home button , so add another 3000 rand on to the cost of fixing my phone because of WeFix " Fixing " The screen . Moral of the story only use Apple Authorised stores like DigiCape and Apple Doctor . And never use weFix . Thanks alot weBreak !!!!!!!
