USELESS BEYOND REPAIR
I have an Iphone 6 of which the screen cracked. I found Ifix in Canal Walk, Cape Town and contacted them. I explained the kind the phone and the nature of the repair and the lady quoted me the repair cost and told me to bring it in. I took the phone in, spent 10 minutes with her while she booked it in and was told it would take 3 hours. I was also very pleased to know that they had opened stores in Johannesburg because I constantly crack the screen on my phones. After hanging around in the centre for the 3 hours, I went back to get my phone, only to be told that they do not work on Iphone6's - only in the new year. 3 Hours that I never get back because of useless staff. Surely she knew this when I spoke to her on the phone or when I brought the phone in? I was quoted a repair price twice. One what did she quote me then? Where did she get the price for the repair. And then of course the Cape Town shrug when they just pull up their shoulders and say sorry. This bad service is apparent though out this town. It's disturbing. She clearly does not know her job and clearly could not care less.
Good Afternoon Sir.
Firstly I would like to apologize for the service you experienced at our Canal Walk Branch, that is not the way we conduct business and we have failed you there.
Thank you for your feedback and I have looked into this with the urgency it deserves. The lady in the front desk was still under training and had booked in your device as a iPhone 6 and quoted accordingly.
Again I do understand that we had failed you there and I would like to humbly express our apologies. Should you ever find yourself in need of assistance again please do not hesitate to contact me personally and I will assure the the quality of service will be up to the standard that we pride ourselves on.
Have a lovely day further.
