The uselessness that is iFix

I am a loyal customer of iFix. My cousin worked close to the branch in town and would take all my electronics there as well as all of my family's electronics. I would send all my friends and family there as I usually had very good experiences. However, recently my cousin dropped off my iPhone 5 at the gardens branch to have my home and power button replaced. They said it would take 2-3 working days. It is important to note that I live in Tokai, but I take it to that branch because I know that they do a good job. Or rather, knew. 2-3 working days passed, and i called iFix as they had not communicated with me. They said the parts had not arrived as yet, but it should be ready the following Tuesday. I accepted this and waited. Tuesday came, the following tuesday came, 3 weeks passed and still I had not heard a peep from iFix. From the 2nd week, i began calling everyday. However, every call went unanswered. I then proceeded to email. No reply. Obviously this is very stressful, as I had no idea what was happening with my phone. They could've run away with it for all I knew. Eventually, I could no longer wait and drove all the way to town to confront them in person. I get there, and there is no iFix. It was under construction. There are no words to describe the rage I felt in that moment. iFix was gone and I had no clue where my phone was. Luckily there was a notice saying there headoffice was in Loop Street. I, then, immediately went on to the Loop Street head office. In all honesty, I was not in a good mood. But, the staff there handled it very well and managed to get my phone done by 5pm that day and deliver it to my phone. At this point, I was very impressed by iFix's customer services.

However, when I looked at the phone I realised they had repaired the wrong two buttons. This being the most careless mistake and completely aggravating. Obviously, my instinct was to call iFix. I called the numbers on the invoice and it rang and rang just as before. Furious, I googled for another number. RIng ring ring. I google the loop street office, no number listed. At that point, I was done. I have no clue how to contact them and I'm sitting with STILL a broken phone. I will never go back to iFix after this, And I would strongly suggest alternate repair consults to the towns branch. They have terrible communication, or lack there of. And I still have little idea how to get ahold of them.

So, iFix, what now?

Good Afternoon Thaaniyah.

I would like to humbly apologise for that lack of communication and general negligence of the said mentioned branch. I assure you this is not the way we do things. I am visiting the branch on Thursday and will be taking up this matter ugently.

We are renovating the store completely and we've had nightmarish issues with telkom and getting a diverted line in the interim but i do not want you bore you with the logistics of it as it is our issues and we have failed you here.

Should you ever be in need again please do not hesitate to deal with myself personally and I will make sure that the service provided is efficient as well as swift.
