A huge shout out the the weFix team at Mall of Africa.

After I decided to accidentally give my phone a suntan by leaving on the dashboard of my car the earpiece died. Fearing a repair the cost of a replacement phone I put it off as long as possible. I eventually capitulated to the fact I need to get it fixed.

I decided on the MoA store because of my previous diagnostic and speedy repair .... i mean who can live with out their phone today? I arrived instore and was warmly greeted. Registered the handset explained the issued and asked for a quote. I was told that being a Samsung there may be a delay getting the parts. Very shortly afterwards I got the quote at what I believed to be very good value and repair time so I gave the go ahead as

What seemed like a life time but was actually well within the time frame I got my sms to collect my phone.

I arrived to collect my phone, walked into the store, followed the Covid protocol as there was a customer at the counter standing to the side watching the lady walk her customer through the functionality of his phone. I did not wait long as a 2nd lady came out to assist me. She sanitsed her hands offered to sanitize mine. Took my details, collected my phone and showed it to me. I agreed it was my phone. She wiped it down with a wipe. Showed me its functionality. Screen works, all numbers and letters work, camera front and back,torch etc. Asked if I was happy and handed my phone to me. I looked at my phone. There is no visible evidence that it had been opened. I even asked if they had fixed it. She laughed and asked me why? So i told her i couldn't see if had been opened. So She asked me to switch it on and off to check everything was in order and to call someone to check i was happy. I did and I was so I paid and left. Its only when I got to my car that i realised that my phone was handed back to me charged.
