Screen repair

Good day

I am completely appalled by recent service I received from We Fix Cresta, I took my phone in for a screen repair only and I realized that the screen was loose and that there was a water mark on my camera which was never there before. I tried using my earphones and because the screen was loose (sloppy job on their part) the screen cracked when I inserted the earphones.

When I went back to the store 21st to bring these issues to their attention they made me sign a contract stating should there be any water damage to the motherboard that I take full responsibility for it. With that being said they advised that they will remove the screen (Being aware of the crack) to remove the water spot, and that they will tighten the screen to the phone. To my understanding if you specialize in a specific service and know that if the screen is removed the crack might crack further and damage the entire screen, and THEY STILL WENT AHEAD AND REMOVED THE WHOLE DAMN SCREEN AND CRACKED MY ENTIRE SCREEN AS PREDICTED!!! And they advised that there is nothing they can do!

What ******* is this?? The technician should’ve refused to remove my screen from the onset because any SANE human being knows not to tamper with a cracked screen as it will get worse and yet they did!! Now I have to be quoted again and the screen is still within the 30 day repair guarantee.. I am well aware of the consumer protection act!!!

And if the phone was fixed correctly the first time instead of doing a slap dash job none of this would’ve happened!!!

Why was I not offered a discount of sort when they cracked my screen or take responsibility for doing a pathetic job!!!?!! I am extremely disappointed with their service and that they completely disregard clients and do not respect clients property!!

A lady in the store complained about the work done with an IPhone as well!!!

I will be taking this matter further to the consumer ombudsman and social if need be to ensure that no one else gets ********** like this!!
