Pathetic service
Horrible experience at wefix woodmead ... dropped of my iPad with a cracked screen to be repaired ... they told me it’s gonna cost a R1000 so I agreed and told them to go ahead ..
An hour later they send me a quotation for a price of R3500 claiming my iPad had further damage !!
Good day ma'am
As discussed with both you and your husband we quoted you on the back cover in addition to the screen due to the technician's findings - it would have been wrong of us to replace your screen only knowing full well that due to the condition of your back cover (as noted on the signed job card from your book in with us) your screen would lift or worse, break due to not being seated as best as possible in the device.
Our front of house staff are not technicians - just like you and I - can see a cracked screen as it is, but they are not technicians to assess a device thoroughly.
We are sorry if this was not communicated to you better or if you feel that we have attempted to charge you unnecessarily but please note that that was not our intention.
As discussed with your husband, you may collect your device at your leisure.
Sincere regards,
Giselle Nareen
