One thing weFix can't fix is my trust!

It saddens me whenever I must resort to leaving poor reviews of companies based on my experiences on hellopeter.com. For what would’ve been a simple screen repair, I have been made to wait more than a month for stock to repair my iPhone 7 Plus jet black screen. In a globalised society that we live in, it is utterly uncomprehend able that a part can’t be sourced from overseas in less than two weeks, let alone a month. The job was created on the 20-04-2017, and today is exactly one month later without any promise of stock arriving in the future. What I did receive from the weFix team was a series of emails and texts saying that they are awaiting stock etc. What really was the final straw when I received the following email from the weFix Gateway team

"Dear Aaron

I have spoken to my managers about your case and they have tried to source an iPhone 7 touch pad in black for you to no avail.

Of our 36 branches across South Africa, only 3 stores had stock of 1 each which were reserved for clients in that area.

We are experiencing a real stock shortage of the iPhone 7 screen black and white because the device has such a thin frame, lcd and touch pad we are experiencing a high demand in replacement screens.

Your screen replacement is a priority and I will keep you updated regarding stock. We are currently waiting for stock to arrive at our Head office in Cape Town and I will keep you updated in that regard"

Is this excuse acceptable in 2017? When speaking to the lady that sent me that email, she explained the procedure for the procurement of stock and how they must get stock from China etc. But surely if they knew that they experience a high number of repair jobs similar to mine, surely, they would plan accordingly? Surely no customer has to wait more than a month for a repair?!

I hope my story is unique but from all that lost trust I had in this company, i'm sure I am not the only one that has received such poor service.
