No testing after repairs
Booked iPad Air in for front glass replacement (minor damage) on 1 July and received back 2 July. Noticed top left and bottom right of screen touch intermittently not working. Putting device to sleep and turning back on resolves the issue for a few minutes. This problem was not present before damage, nor while glass was damaged. Damaged area did not even go as far as the LCD, only the black trim.

Returned the device on the 3rd. There was no attempt in re-booking the device in for testing, as I could not recreate the issue while in store (screen had been in sleep mode for a while). It was taken to the technician, who looked at it for a minute, then sent the reception lady back with a message that he cannot see the problem, and it might be the LCD and no stock available. Device was given back to me and told to try again in a few days.

Why bother driving back and forth if there is not a slight chance that the device might be booked in for testing? Why do I now need to pay for a LCD that was in working condition before it was sent for repairs?

Would never recommend having devices repaired at iFix.
