iPhone to iBrick, brought to you by WeFix

I must really "commend" you WeFix, your Business Model must be the most risk free Model out there. The fact that you think one statement "There is a 50/50 chance of the device dying" can remove any and all liability from your side is very convenient.

When this all started more than two months ago, I had a working iPhone 6 Plus with a jumping screen. I could still use all other functionality, but the jumping got a bit irritating. This resulted in me ending up at WeFix.

After the diagnostics, they (Fourways Crossing) said that my Touch IC Module had to be replaced. After two weeks of very poor communication, I was informed that the repair did not work, and that my screen now had to be replaced. Somewhere something went wrong, because a week later, I was informed that my front camera was now broken and they needed to reload the iOS as a last resort. When I finally got my phone back, there was nothing on my phone, not even iOS. I tried to reload through iTunes, but nothing worked.

So I took my phone back again, because that is just not on. This time the unknowing lady read some of the comments on the job card, and I then found out that at one of the inspection stations my WiFi Antenna was reported as missing, and that my main board was damaged. HOW do you go from fixing a jumping screen to a BRICK with no iOS, broken front camera and possibly a missing or broken WiFi Antenna????

And they still manage to make things worse. I took it back to understand how my Phone has basically been wiped and classified as irreparable, and now that I have it back, it cannot switch on anymore…not even display the connect to iTunes screen?????

Good Afternoon Charlise

Trust that you are well.

First of all I would like to apologise on behalf of weFix and Fourways Store for the inconvenience caused. We would like to make it better as discussed over the phone by replacing a second hand back cover on your device so that we can resolve the issue at hand. As we would also like to assure you that this won't happen again.

Please note that training has been recommended for my staff.

Good Afternoon Wikus

Trust that you are well.

We would like to apologies for the response on top that is directed to a different client all together.

We believe that your device was brought to our store for touch working intermittently and was taken to our board level repair, we do apologies for the inconvenience caused by us and would like to make it better by investigating further as to what really happened for us to be in this current situation where we saying the device is irreparable.

We will request a report from our board level repair that stats what exactly happened while trying to repair the device. We know that this would sound as if it's not enough however once we have the report we will be able to advise further.

Once again we do apologies for the inconvenience.

Fourways Management
