iFix Canal Walk - Stay away.

After I dropped my iphone I decide to take it in to iFix rather than an overnight repair shop to get the screen fixed properly, I took it in to Canal Walk iFix (25/06/2016). After 3 hours and R3700 later I got my phone back all good with the acception a little mark where the phone dropped (impact of previous drop) of which I thought it was due to the damage of the casing and did not bother with this small mark (live 140km away). When I got home I showed the new screen and the small mark to my friends, it really did not bother me.

I was very happy with the service I received and my phone was functioning fine until end of July, not even a month later when I realized my whole screen was coming apart from the casing (other side of phone with no impact damage) and also bubbling at the bottom right corner. I called the shop and explained to the lady consultant this problem and that I was bringing it in for them to fix at a later stage as I am 140km away and not able to come in straight away.

The consultant told me it was fine I can bring it in for them to fix (phone was in a gel cover and I had not dropped it once since I learned my lesson with the repair). I called them back in August and made an appointment for Saturday morning opening time and on the 20th I drove through to get the screen fixed.

When I gave my phone to the lady she took it back to the technician and after about 5 min she came out and told me they are not going to fix it as it was impact damage on the screen (they showed me the same mark that was on my screen when I received it back from them after the screen repair) at this stage there is no mark or scratch on the side of the phone where they said it fell, the mark on the screen where they said it fell you cannot feel any imperfections as the crack or whatever it is is inside the screen or below.

iFix is very fast to assist in a quote or to take the money when you trust them to repair your phone at a high cost but first to through their hands in the air and pass all blame to the client.

I want to all phone users please take photos of all the previous damage and in detail go through your phone when you receive it back to check if all is ok if you use iFix Canal Walk as they are in my eyes exceptionally poor at their jobs and *************.
