iBroke not iFix

On Saturday 09/07/2016, I took my WORKING iphone5 to iFix Canal Walk for a battery replacement. When I got my phone back after about two hours, it switched on fine but after about 20 minutes, the phone started re-booting the whole time. This carried on for the rest of Saturday and Sunday morning, it got worse, and eventually the phone kept on re-booting without switching on. We took the phone to iFix Tyger Valley as it was closer to our route back home. They replaced the battery again, but it still re-booted. They then re-installed the software but didn't work and the phone got stuck in "ITunes" mode, as they put it. They informed us that there is nothing more they can do and we should take it up with Canal Walk iFix as it is not the same company?? However, both is iFix and I expect all of them to give the same service. We then drove back to iFix Canal Walk as Tyger Valley was unable to assist. Upon arrival we explained what the problem was and they booked the phone in again. After about 40 minutes they informed us that there is nothing they can do about the problem, except give me a refund for the battery they changed. The workshop manager kept on SPECULATING as to what could have happened and couldn't give us a straight answer/sollution for the problem. The FACT howerer is, that I booked in a WORKING phone, with the only task for them to do is replace the battery, and I received a BROKEN phone back. First of all, I am not satisfied with the unprofessional (****y)service of both iFix stores' assistant ladies and more importantly am I very upset with the fact that I only get a refund for a broken phone while they just litteraly lift up their shoulders stating that there is nothing they can do about it. i basically got my phone broken for free! I couldh've done this by myself with much less trouble! And why do I only get my refund after 10 working days when they got the money right away? I NEED MY PHONE IN AT LEAST THE SAME STATE AS WHEN I BOOKED IT IN THE FIRST TIME!

Good Morning Mrs. Van Der Merwe.

Please allow me to apologise for the service that you have received, we are in fact one company and you should not have been sent back to the original branch. Therefore I am personally investigating the matter myself. This is not the way we conduct business and it is unacceptable.

Please be advised that your refund if not received yet is being processed as a matter of urgency, furthermore you will be receiving a call from the branch manager today if you haven't already received a call.

Again, please accept our humble apologies.

Have a lovely day further.
