I REGRET THE DAY I CAME TO WEFIX CANAL WALK.JOB # CWSA214795
i took my phone to wefix canal walk start of september to get my samsung j5 fixed. The phone was just stuck on the samsung logo sign flashing on and off.I gave the lady at the helpdesk Sandra who gave it to the technician who was there by the name of Jackson.I was told if it is a software problem i would pay R240 rand.So i paid the initial fee of about R180 something that's the fee for them to check my phone.I got back later after i came from work to take the phone,i was then advised by Sandra they fixed the phone but you will need to also get a battery & essentially pay another R400 for the battery amounting the total to R650.I advised them ididnt have money for a battery they just have to fix the software and i will sort the battery issue another time. They then returned my phone but it was then worse,it wasnt even flashing as before,it was just a blank screen. Before i took it back Sandra had **** to me that they fixed the fon and removed the new battery they had put it.She advised when i get home and put the phone on the charger it would switch on.Of course when i got home that never happened,it was just blank.I returned the phone the next day spoke to the technicians and managers and they booked my phone in again. This was now on the 5th september when i brought it back the next day. They never communicated with me for a whole month on the progress of my phone until i decided to phone in on the 1st of october.I talked to the technician,Jackson who had the audacity to lie at me that they tried to call me which they did not.he had assumed since i brought my cellphone there i wouldnt have another phone to use unbeknownst to him i have a temporary phone i use and i wouldve seen or answered that call if they had called.I told Jackson,i told him straight up you lying to me,you never called me,i challenged him since they are a business surely they keep records when they call clients,i challenged him to tell me the day they called to give me an update,of course he couldnt provide that day since he was lying.Anyway during the course of this call with Jackson after a month these guys were quite,he then told me my phone needs a new mother board.I asked him how much would that be he said R1800,which of course was a surprise to me.I asked him when were they going to tell me about this since it was now a month passed with no feedback from them.I guess thats when he decided to come up with the lie that they tried to call me.Anyway i havent went there to confront them since 5th september when i left my phone and my phone is still with them. They might as well keep the phone,i dont want it anymore as they damaged it more in the hope of ransoming me into paying R1800 for a motherboard.THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
