Do not use Wefix- you'll be disappointed

I took my iPhone 6s to weFix at tygervalley shopping centre for a battery replacement which was supposed to take 90 minutes but instead I was told to leave the phone and it would be ready in 24-48hours. I asked the receptionist if she was sure of this as there are multiple weFix stores in Cape town and I could easily take it to one of them if they would be a delay. Fast forward almost a week after calling the store only to receive excuses I receive a text saying they are waiting on stock. My issue is not that they had no stock but what I have a problem with is that they took my phone in knowing very well that they did not have stock at the time. If they would have been honest I would have easily gone to another store. Now in order for me to get my phone back so I can take it to another store I have to pay a rejection fee. My advice to everyone- DO NOT USE WEFIX, rather take your phone to the product manufacturer eg. Apple, Samsung etc. The weFix staff at tygervalley shopping centre are dishonest and do not follow consumer etiquette protocol.

Good day

Just a follow up to confirm that you have been contacted by a weFix representative. It is not that the store did not have stock of batteries since your job was booked in - they did test it with stock on hand and it did not resolve your issue. They are now waiting on more stock to confirm if perhaps the stock that they tested with is faulty or if the device actually has a main board fault.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this regard. We sincerely hope that all goes well with your repair.

Regards,

Giselle Nareen
