Customer Priority Non existing

On the afternoon on 9th December 2016 I booked in my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for a damages repair quote for my insurance. I clearly stated that I needed a repair quote on all damages on the phone including the internal lens of the rear camera being cracked.

With the stated turn-around time of 24 Hours, I was quite impressed with an expectatiuon of picking up the quote on Sunday. Sunday afternoon at 16h00 I phoned in to find out if the quote was ready as I had not received any feedback. I was told that the quote would only be ready on Monday with no reason given of the delay. So Monday came, I had to phone in again and was informed that the technician had started with the quote. After receiving the quote at 14h00 in the afternoon I realized that no damages quote was listed for the internal lens. When I phoned back, it very quickly became a fact that they never even checked the camera lens. Disappointingly I had to speak to the receptionist to explain the issue, only to be transfered to the technician to start my explaination all over again. He only realized that the internal lens was damanaged when I had to explain to AGAIN. So I had to again wait for an updated quote. After assesssing the quote, i realize AGAIN that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sustained damages as well, and AGAIN it had not been listed!

This morning I sent through an escalation mail trying to follow up with Tabisa but with absolutely no luck. Again I had to phone in and explain that damages had not been listed. I made it very clear that ALL DAMAGES need to be listed. A phone call back was promised, but AGAIN no luck. I had to phone in and escalate my frustration in having to direct their technical staff on how to do an official quote, its really not that hard. And then OH THE JOY, the technician (Single employed technician!? Seriously!?) was out of the shop and no one had any idea by when the updated quote will then be compiled. No time slot could be given, no commitment or added effort to assist in the problem at all.

I have not posted a single bad review in years, but this service literally pushed me to reflect this shocking service quality. I cannot fathom how you as a service provider have the decency to advertise 24 Hours turn around time on quotes, but your CUSTOMER needs to advise to your staff on what a damage assessment quoute is!? There is absolutely no priority or value of service quality your staff promise. How do you run your quote assessment services with only ONE technician in the store?? In this case NO technicians in the store.

I regret having booked in my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at this shop - And the worst of all is, the repair turn around time is what I fear most if this is how long it takes just to get "A piece of paper to tell you what has been damaged on your phone..."

Hi Andre

We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to investigate the delay in the quoting procedure.

We apologise for not making it clear to you that, in terms of company policy, our technical teams are obliged to perform an assessment and then issue a quote based on their analysis of what is wrong with your device. In particular, they are not allowed to issue a report without confirming independently that something is wrong with a specific part on your device.

We trust that this explanation will provide you with some insight into the assessment and quoting process and thank you for your patience. We are sorry for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

Kind Regards

Naomi
