Bad service at iFix Canal Walk

<p>Today 03.08.2016 to 7PM I went to iFix Canal Walk to have my phone checked out after already visiting the iFix branch at V&A Waterfront. The lady at the waterfront branch quoted me R269 to have my bluetooth and wifi problems fixed and that it would take about 90 minutes to fix it. I then agreed to have it fixed but unfortunately there was no technicians available to fix it.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then went to the iFix Canal Walk branch to have it checked out. I told the consultant that my wifi and bluetooth is not working and also that I was already quoted R269 at the waterfront branch. She then took my phone to the technician and then came back telling me that the technician said it's the motherboard that needs to be replaced and quoted me R2999. I left the branch shocked at the repair cost and walked only a short distance before returning back to the branch.</p> <p> </p> <p>I asked to speak to the technician and the consultant said that she will ask if he has time because he might be to busy. The technician then came to speak to me and I told him that I have a telkom contract thats still under warranty and that I know that iFix and Huawei has a agreement to repair Huawei phones still under warranty. The lady consultant said in the background that it's not true and that their is only an agreement for the Huawei P8 and not the P8 Lite.</p> <p> </p> <p>The technician then told me that he is able to fix the phone at no extra charge because it is still under warranty but that it would 21 working days to fix. I then told him that the lady at the waterfront branch told me that it would only take 90 minutes to fix and then the technician quickly came out with an excuse saying that they out of stock with motherboards and that's why he could not help.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am very upset with the service at this store because they are giving clients false information and wasting my time. I would really like to fix my phone's problem but will not be returning to this store. I will rather return to the V&A Waterfront store. Very disappointed </p>
