Bad customer service at weFix Gateway

On Saturday I encountered some bad customer service from a service consultant at weFix gateway.

I had initially requested a quote online for the repair I wanted done on my phone. Turns out an error was made with the price as when I walked into the store I was quoted a different price.(R299 quoted via email,in store was R350).I insisted on price I was quoted via email as I had the email to prove it.I got that price.

When I was booking my device in,on the quote there was an assessment fee of R179 and I ask why was that there and when will it be applicable. The consultant just dismissed me and said something like öh I had to put it in there it is standard procedure."When I indicated understanding of the assessment fee she then started to explain the circumstances under which this fee may become applicable for me to pay.For me that was bad service as all relevant disclosures must be made to customers before they buy a product or service.Yes I read the terms and conditions but it is also the responsibility of the customer service agent to make such disclosures.

The device was repaired to my satisfaction and had to make the payment. Just before I ran my card,I then saw that the price I was being charged was R299.01 and not R299 as initially quoted. When I took this up with the service agent, when I was making my point she spoke over me with no respect or regard for any customer etiquette and dismissed me like I am just squalling for nothing. I did not like her attitude and the way she treated me as a customer,I may not look like a customer deserving to be respected but I believe it is part of treating customer fairly principle s that all customers should be treated the same.

Her behaviour and attitude towards me did not reflect good customer service s****s and principles.
