Voting issue

I went to vote station today and I didn't vote because I am not registered there, they didn't even bother themselves to scan my ID. They just told me I should go where I registered. The thing is it didn't just happened to me most people didn't vote because of that issue. Before I never heard that I should prepare to vote to the place where am registered, even if is for one day vote, how long a person who works In Gauteng but registered in another province have to prepare him/herself to vote. I just felt now they are taking away my rights to vote. This is a delusion and I don't know for those who are at work at moment how will they manage to go to their registered area to vote.
