Wolves in a sheep skin

I had been looking for a place to stay last since I was relocating from JHB to Durban. This is where i found Phiwa Vilakazi from Idwala Property Group. I was interested in the 3 bedroom house in Amanzimtoti and he sent the lease agreement to me to sign, eish my biggest mistake. I to this day regret ever signing that contract. Maybe the excitement also got me since I have been struggling to get the place I just signed. Firstly, their lease agreements only looks at the interest of the landlord not tenant. For late rental payments you are charged 2.5% "daily" of the rental fee. The CPA says not more than 2% per month. When I arrived here there was no inspection conducted, had to send pictures and videos to Phiwa Vilakazi and i was promised that all those things will be sorted out. Then after a week of me being in the house, we had an issue with the tap that i had reported, it caused damage to an externt that a plumber was called in but this was where my nightmares started. The tap was taken out, leaving me and my kids without running water in the house for 2 weeks. I followed up on Phiwa to a point that he wasn't taking my calls and answering my WhatsApp massages. We bathed with called water, stored water on containers. Came night time if one of kids wanted to use the bathroom it was a mission cause there was no water to flush. Kids had to go to school bathed in cold water. I regret not cancelling my contract here. Month end I defaulted on rent, which resulted in me paying the 2.5% daily which was paid according to the agreed times given by them. Then I found out that there is a unit cheaper than which I can take instead since Phiwa knew of my situation and the relocation hasn't been that great. I then spoke to him about cancelling my lease agreement and give notice to vacate (6 weeks) and possibly using my deposit as rent cause I wanted to secure the other place which by then I had done so. But he had advised that i cannot but he was going to chat to the landlord. This was where now all my problems started. Now the lease agreement breach card is being played to my face every single time I call. I was told I will forfeit the deposit if i dont find a person to take over my lease. I placed an advert and had people to come and view since I do need my deposit. Then that changed, now I breached my contract for the second time for late payment which results to the landlord cancelling the contract but I am cancelling the contract not her. I gave notice before everything. Worse, the rent was increased on the advert. How am i meant to find the replacement? I spent days missing work, working hard to find someone. Till this day fixtures that were meant to be done in the house are not which most viewers are complaining about. I regret ever signing this lease, if i knew then what I know now I wouldn't have. My son got injured while taking a shower, the wheels are worn out. This I also pointed out. The door fell over him and broke. He sustained cuts in his body. Been trying to get a hold of Phiwa, guess What, no answer. I want to know what is going to happen since im due to leave in 4 days but no one communicates with me. They have their money and the rental deposit that i was assured that i won't be getting maybe that is why I am ignored. This was an experience I had first time in KZN from JHB and i would wish it to another person.
