BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE CENTER!!!

After filing for simple speaker damage on a mobile phone covered by comprehensive insurance by MTN Device Insurance- underwritten by Guardrisk. My phone got returned with a battery that would not charge, the phone did not recognize when the charge was plugged in and even gave me a notification that the phone did not contain a genuine iPhone battery any more. I contacted Apple and they confirmed that the Idroid Lab was use was not authorized to be dealing with iPhone, let alone in warranty iPhones. They then admitted their wrong doing and their fault at rendering my warranty null and void, only to replace the phone from another unauthorized Apple reseller. They refused to purchase the phone from Apple to maintain my warranty and trade in agreement, they refused to pay me out the value of the device, which THEY stole parts from and they wouldn’t even simply give me a voucher to just purchase a new phone myself. Beware of these ********, they will take you money at inflated premiums, insure your device for more than its worth, use dodgey back door repair centers that will replace your parts with **** ones and never pay you out. I will report this case to the ombudsman, South African Insurance Association and every journalist that will listen, just so other people don’t fall victim to such misconduct.
