Unqualified assessor, incorrect and inadequate assessment

Reference to claim number **** for a crack in the pool

After a poor claim experience with multiple calls from myself to follow up, I have been informed of the assessors feedback to which I disagree.

1. There is no validation that the assessor is qualified to assess structural damage 2. The assessor did not open up or investigate the the structural damage (I was with the assessor the entire time). Further, one cannot assess structural damage superficially. The assessor failed to properly assess the structural damage. He merly took pictures of the surface 3. One of the feedback items is about wire mesh, this cannot be evaluated superficially and is hereby a false statement by the assessor until the concrete is opened up and the wire mesh is visibly inspected/assessed, which was not done. 4 The assessors report refers to the pool pump, filter, weir and superficial patches which has no bearing on the structural damage and all are in good working order. The feedback on these items are irrelevant and hearsay 5. The claim is for the structural damage which is on the opposite/far end of the pool and exists at the top 30-50cm from ground level 6. None of the assessors feedback directly relates to the cause and position of the structural damage 7. Taking pictures of the pool pump and the superficial surface of the pool does not provide accurate, in depth and correct assessment of structural damage

I am expecting a call back and that a qualified assessor is sent out to provide an evaluation or I will be logging this with the OSTI.
