Unhappy client
My house was damaged due to weather on the 4/07/2024 my carport blew off ,part of the main house including my garage door was damaged. absa sent contractors out the Friday 5/07/2024 I was than advised the claim will be submitted to absa. Monday another part of the house's roof blew off I contacted absa insurance again same thing happened Tuesday 9/07 including Wednesday 10/07 contractor's was sent out all those consecutive days and my claim was finally submitted after more damaged occurred. On all of those days finally when the claim got bigger absa's internal assessor decided to make an appearance at my premises to cut costs he called my damages impossible and compared my. Damages to his house where burglary happened and not weather damage he even came to find fault with my electrically wiring which was totally unrelated to my claim. I was hospitalized on Tuesday 9/07 due to all the stress and anxiety suffered due to the state of my house. On Monday 15/07 I called the internal assessor to find out how far things are he apologized and said his sending the final documents and I'll hear from the contractor's within the week to fix up the place. On Thursday 18/07 I called the bank to find out if my claim was approved only to be told the internal assessor only submitted part of the claim and they will nolonger fix my house I will be given r36 000 and should fix up my own house .I seeked help everywhere with no luck I'm now sitting with a damaged house full of buckets because it's leaking everywhere with a toddler I have to live in this conditions absa's consultants refuses to email me proof of the conversations and said they can't help me it's out of their hands. the internal assessor has **** and gave me assurity under false pretences. My house was broken into all my wiring was ****** connected to my geyser for copper due to my house being open and exposed what more should happen before helped is given?
