Unauthorised & Excessive Debit Orders by Absa Insurance
I’m extremely frustrated with Absa Insurance at this point. This month alone, they deducted triple the amount of my agreed insurance premium from my account.
Part of the deductions included a debit order that I never authorised, on top of the debit order that was actually agreed upon. Altogether, the total amount deducted was nearly three times what I am supposed to be paying.
I’m exhausted from constantly emailing and calling to fix the same issues repeatedly, only for them to happen again. The service has been stressful and disappointing.
What makes this even worse is that after I accepted their offer regarding my vehicle inspection, nobody has contacted me to proceed with the inspection process. Yet the debit orders go through without fail - and incorrectly.
I have tried resolving this directly multiple times but failing. I need urgent intervention and immediate correction of my account.
After the incorrect deductions from my account, I reversed the unauthorised amount and left the amount that I had actually agreed to pay. Rather than communicate with me or investigate the issue properly, my policy was cancelled.
This entire experience has been frustrating and stressful. I have continuously tried resolving these debit order issues through calls and emails, but the same problems keep happening. There has been poor communication, incorrect deductions, and now policy cancellation without proper resolution.
I do not understand how customers are expected to trust this process when concerns are not handled properly, yet debit orders are processed so quickly.
