unable to cancel my insurance policy

I have more than a week trying to cancel my insurance policy, with ABSA I direct without any luck . in the previous week, i was told that an agent will come back to me within 72 hours . however that has long come and pass. it seems that when you are about to cancel a policy. they intentionally ignore your call, i have call couple of times and i hold for more than 45 minutes. this is not acceptable.
