They sent me a deceiving sms assuring me that I had been granted a 2 months payment relief when they in fact canceled my policy. As if deceit was never enough, I can't get assisted with getting my policy reinstated despite begging for days telephonically

I missed payments on my Absa Activate car insurance policy in June and July 2025 due to the financial difficulties that I went through. I got comforted on 28 July 2025 when I received an sms from Absa Activate stating "Absa: We were unsuccessful in collecting 2 premiums on policy ***. We have app**** 2 payment reliefs, to be recovered from benefit payments. FSP36116". My finances improved and I was surprised when my account was never debited in August 2025. I contacted Absa Activate telephonically on 01 September 2025 to express my surprise that my account was never debited. I was advised by the consultant that contrary to the sms I received, my policy had been canceled. I immediately requested for reinstatement of the policy. The consultant assured me that someone will call me to assist with that. I received one missed call from Absa Activate the following day on 02 September 2025 but I couldn't answer because I was in the shower and they never tried calling again. I then sent a query to the ***ca with reference ref:!00D1r01GluM.!500Si0KPNNq:ref on 02 September 2025. On the same day, Salphy Ramaru forwarded my query to ***ca with the text "Kindly assist with re-issue". I still never got assisted. I followed up by email 2 days later on 04 September 2025 through the ***ca email. Same day Pinkie Modibedi using the ***ca email account requested Pertunia Sibongile Mahlaba to call me and assist me with the cover. I still never got assisted. I sent an email the following day on 05 September 2025 indicating that I was never assisted and I never got a response. As if driving a car without insurance under the impression that I had been granted a payment relief wasn't enough, which was a deceit I now have to beg for my policy to be reinstated. If deceit and ignoring customer queries is acceptable and ethical at Absa, I'll cancel all other products I have had with Absa all my adult life and go elsewhere, where business is conducted with dignity.
