Stay Away From Absa Insurance

I would not recommend Absa Activate insurance to anyone.

My vehicle got broken into early hours of the morning on the 2nd Feb 2023.

They gained entry into my vehicle by smashing my passenger window (Only damages on my vehicle)

Tried to log a claim on the app, recieve an error, Was trying for 5 hours yesterday to get hold of someone at absa insurance but got hold of no one, you wait for hours when trying to get assistance. Emailed them, and absolutely no one responds.

There communication to there clients is Dismal. There willingness to assist is dismal. You cant even track a claim on the app, it just shows up blank.

I would warn any person to stay away from Absa insurance. You will not get anything right when it comes to claiming. I even sent them a email to cancel my insurance with them because of the horrid response / experience ive been getting, and even on that, No response.

So If anyone wants to join absa insurance, I beg you the question, when you need to claim, how are you going to claim when no one responds to emails / cant log it in the app, nor get hold of anyone telephonically. You will spend hours on end trying to get hold of someone. If you want to change something on your policy, how will you do that if no one responds or picks up the phone? If you want to cancel how will you do that because of reasons above.

I Would recommend anyone stay away from absa insurance.
