Rude and unsypathatic Claim consultant

On the 5th of November I decided to visit a long time high school friend who had in recent years gotten married and had a child (it had been 13 years since we last saw each other). 4 other high school friends joined as we congratulated him on his next step in life. Later in that night I went to a garage and was unfortunate to be in a vehicle accident going back to his place. The car in the opposite direction seemed to close for comfort and thus had to move closer to my left. Unfortunately I was close to the pavement and went over it. There was not damage i could see in the car, however upon parking could notice that the left side of the front seemed to be lower than the right. I decided to call the insurance to avoid further damage and the car was towed. I then logged the claim on Monday morning as I was told I could not do so on Saturday.

After no feedback by Wednesday afternoon, I called to find out what was happening to which I was directed to a Mr Andrew Styger. Mr Styger said he would call me later that night.

Upon calling, it is then I experienced the worst customer assistance in my 31 years of existence. Mr Styger was rather rude, asked me everything about the incident while falling short of calling me a lie. He even called the reunion with about 6 people a party and asked how i could go to a party and not drink??? Said he wants to investigate my previous insurer because we sometimes lie?? Became angry when I told him my friend had to drop me off in Midrand simply because he wanted me to give the exact place in Midrand. Told me how he was going to track all telephone records, He probably said "I must not lie about 5 times in the conversation and it became apparent that his aim was not understand what happen and process the claim, but to rather attempted to refute the claim using any trick in the book. After almost 2 years with this insurer and no claim with them, i was treated like a ******** in an investigation room.

With all this happening he still expects countless documents and for me to drive and point out the scene of the incident. This man is very rude and unsympathetic and has a blatant aim to refute this claim, probably to meet his yearly target. This is unacceptable from such a big insurer
