Rewards Reset to R0 After Cancelling Policy

This is my fourth, and hopefully final, review of Activate by ABSA.

I cancelled my car insurance policy with them and even gave proper notice, yet they decided to be spiteful and refused to pay the rewards owed to me. They reset everything to R0.

I also moved my vehicle finance to a different bank because I want nothing further to do with this company.

The past year with their insurance has been an absolute nightmare. Do not even consider taking out any product with them. They don’t answer calls, their app doesn’t work, the rewards system doesn’t work, the panic button doesn’t work, the tracker doesn’t work - nothing works. The only thing that does work is their debit system. They make sure they deduct money every month, but fail to deliver even the most basic services.

I have now moved to a different car insurance provider and transferred my vehicle finance elsewhere. Good riddance.
