Poor communication

I tried to cancel Activate insurance for months without winning. When I eventually did, I was told that they will back date the cancellation date to my initial cancelation emails so that I can get a refund. When I received my cancelation letter, it was not backdated. I have sent a couple of emails asking for this to be rectified, still no answer.
