OEM windscreen not covered but the contract does not state that.

I have just cancelled my car insurance with Absa iDirect which I have been paying for without any claims. I logged my first claim which is for my Audi A4's windscreen and they approved a generic windscreen to be fitted by Glasfit. The car has warranty and all servicing and repairs are done at Audi with original parts so I called to ask if they can pay for the OEM since my policy document doesn't mention that they can only approve generic parts.

Katlego Dithipe asked for proof of warranty which I forwarded and she spoke to her manager who then refused to approve my claim.
