No sense of urgency
My name is Philadelphia Rapao and I have lodged a claim with my ABSA home loan insurance in September 18 after having my toilet cistern cracked and couldn't store water and flush then subsequently had to close the water supply to the toilet because the water was flooding on the floor. A service provider was appointed by the bank and a claim number *** was allocated to me as reference when ever making follow up regarding my claim. An assessment was conducted on the 18th of September 2024 and a quotation was given to my insurance homeloan. Since then I have made countless phone calls and email follow ups with my bank and the response I'm getting is that my claim has been referred to their specialized team and it is under review for the decision to be made on the outcome. To date is has been 1 month and 3 weeks to process my claim, having to endure the struggle and the inconvenience of using the toilet while the insurance is making a decision and forget that using a toilet is a basic and hygienic need. Please post on Hello Peter on my behalf.
