No honest, intergrity or empathy from the deceased department from ABSA Bank
I am not pleased with the service i am getting from ABSA. on the 7th of October had visited the queenstown branch and submitted documents to close my late mothers account. i called the following week to find out if all was in order and to also enquire about the turnaround time, and so I had followed up on a weekly basis. on the 30th of October i called again and was advised the funds would be on paid into the estate late account by the 4th of November.
i called on the 4th of November and spoke to a lady, she advised that the information provided was incorrect and that payment would be done in the next 5-7 working days, she provided me with a reference no: c***. Today is the 13th of November, 7 days after i called, i was assisted by a gentlement named Samuel, he advised our query was allocated to Molly by the payments department team leader. he advised that the payment will be might be made by the 17th of November. I advised them that i am not accepting any further postponed and that funds should reflect in our estate late account by COB. I'm seeing that the payment has not been prioritised.
this is not ethiical at all and there is no sunset principle or transparency practised at this institution.
