NO GOOD FAITH from SELF SERVING idirect!!!!
I have seen bad service before, but never in my life been with a service provider with as deep a self serving agenda as what I have just experienced with idirect.
I've spent a month waiting for an assessor with SELECTIVE HEARING - only interested in information to help idirect reject my claim.
The guy probed for document after another, and after weeks of finding nothing to invalidate the claim in there, a "smooth tyre" was suddenly found. I could sense the guy buy himself time to find an expert to corroborate HIS account of MY accident.
I have asked questions on the impartiality of the expert. I have asked questions on the validity and completeness of the information the expert used to inform his judgement. I have seeked consideration of alternate factors, but noone cares! The assessor has found a way out for idirect and won't spend another minute listening to anything I have to say. This is after I spent a month playing his song and dance.
Is it far fetched to think the expert isn't immune to bias towards the company that's paying him large sums to produce many such reports?
Idirect saves millions on claims, the expert makes a pretty penny for all the favourable reports using any tiny piece of information to grab onto.
They know customers don't have the funds to pay for an alternate expert accounts. So the one sided reports go unquestioned. Sounds like a perfect situation for idirect and their expert.
Please note:
NOT ALL CALLS ARE RECORDED! The recorded calls were very strategically timed. There was the very brush ones that said "look here Michael, I have 21 cases assigned to me and I cannot be running around after yours all day. I will get back to you when I get back to you". Those were not recorded. The recorded ones sounded more like "Good day Sir, do you have time for me please".
Why are we insuring with idirect?

I sincerely hope the email you sent me this evening referring me back to the very same vaguery from your assessors is not the end of what ABSA calls servicing a customer complaint. At this point, I have been helped with nothing. I have raised legitimate questions here, which one of them has been addressed?
